A New Chapter For Breastfeeding Perspectives

Breastfeeding Perspectives now specializes in virtual lactation support

We’re Going Virtual!

A few months ago, we shared the news that Breastfeeding Perspectives would be finally closing after decades of supporting families through pregnancy, breastfeeding, and the postpartum journey.

Today, we’re happy to reach out once again and share a different update.

Breastfeeding Perspectives is not closing anytime soon. Instead, we’re transitioning to a fully virtual practice.

This shift to virtual means we can keep doing what we love, while serving moms and families across the country. While this marks a significant change, our focus remains exactly the same: helping parents feel supported, informed, and confident as they navigate feeding and caring for their babies.

Why the Change?

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of families. We’ve celebrated first latches, spoken at conferences, and guided mothers during some of the most overwhelming moments of early parenthood.

As we looked toward the future, we realized that instead of closing we can still reach families more conveniently and efficiently through virtual lactation support.

Rather than traveling to an office, parents can now connect with a trusted lactation guide from the comfort of their own home.

The Benefits of Virtual Lactation Support

The early weeks with a baby can be beautiful, exhausting, emotional, and unpredictable at the same time. Virtual consultations offer several advantages for busy families:

  • No need to always have to pack up and travel to speak with a lactation specialist
  • Access support from the comfort of your home, where feeding naturally occurs
  • Flexible scheduling options to fit your daily routine
  • Guidance available wherever you live or travel to

From our experience, we have found that virtual lactation support can be an effective and convenient way for families to receive expert guidance. Many breastfeeding questions, concerns, and challenges can be effectively addressed through secure video consultations.

Whether you’re preparing for baby’s arrival, working through latch concerns, navigating pumping, or simply looking for reassurance, a virtual lactation guide can help you meet your breastfeeding goals.

Your Privacy Matters

All consultations are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform designed to protect your privacy and personal health information. This allows you to receive professional support while maintaining the level of confidentiality that you deserve.

Looking Ahead

Breastfeeding Perspectives isn’t going anywhere soon. We’re simply going virtual so we can reach more moms with the warmth, understanding, and practical help that they need.

While our format is changing, our commitment to families is not.

We will continue to provide the same compassionate and evidence-based support that parents have trusted for years

To all the families who have been part of our journey, thank you for your support, trust, and encouragement. We’re excited for this next chapter and look forward to continuing to serve parents across the United States.

Because every feeding journey deserves support, wherever you are.
